National Bank gives 50,000$ in bursaries to tennis hopefuls

In order to encourage and support young tennis champions, the National Bank Tennis Excellence Fund has offered 50,000 dollars in bursaries yesterday. Congratulations to Aleksandra Wozniak, Stephanie Dubois, Eugenie Bouchard, Françoise Abanda and Marie-Eve Pelletier who were the recipients of this year.

These bursaries were offered to support their training and development, so they can continue to live their passion.

The Young Aces program
You may have noticed the presence of kids carrying the professionals’ bag and racket during the games at the Rogers Cup?

Since 2007, National Bank is associated with Tennis Canada to identify young talent, often as young as six or seven years old. Already more than 1000 hopefuls attended the training program proposed, helping them to develop under the supervision of qualified coaches.
