50 ideas for a prosperous and dynamic Quebec

National Bank is very proud to partner with Junior Achievement Quebec which, to celebrate its 50th anniversary, is launching the 50 idées pour un Québec prospère et dynamique contest.

“At National Bank, we are proud to encourage the development of youth and to invite them to share their ideas. Young people are the future leaders of our communities. I am therefore pleased to be associated with this innovative and promising contest aimed at sharing the initiatives and projects that these young people have for promoting entrepreneurship,” said Diane Déry, Vice-President – Commercial Banking for Central and Eastern Quebec at National Bank and honorary chair of the celebrations.

Future leaders of Quebec
Through this contest, Junior Achievement Quebec is giving our leaders of tomorrow an opportunity to express their thoughts and ideas on various matters of public interest, such as social development in Quebec, the economy and the environment. All Quebec students, aged 14 to 18, are invited to participate.

Junior Achievement Conference
This year, for the 50th anniversary of Junior Achievement Quebec, National Bank will also present a fictitious case study at the next Junior Achievement Conference to be held in March 2013. Young people will work in teams to develop a business plan.

Some 150 young people between the ages of 16 and 18 from across Quebec and New-Brunswick and even Belgium will come together for a weekend. This is the largest French-language Junior Achievement Conference in North America.
