National Bank brings global innovative offices to IDS13

National Bank is proud to present the Interior Design Show 2013 (IDS13) in Toronto, held from January 24, 2013, to January 27, 2013, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. IDS13 attendees will have the opportunity to take advantage of small business and investment offers from National Bank and enter for a chance to win a trip to San Francisco, innovation capital of the world.

An inspiring concept
National Bank has created an experience showcasing global innovative offices in a contemporary designed space at IDS13. In partnership with cool curator Trend Hunter and designer Jentry Chin, the Bank will display 23 of the most innovative offices from around the world based on the concept inspired spaces lead to inspired work.

Titled WORK.SPACE and thematically in line with IDS’s concept space “How Do You Work?”, the booth explores the environments corporate offices designed to motivate and evoke creativity.

A digital gallery that encircles the world most compelling headquarters
As presenting sponsor, the design savvy bank’s WORK.SPACE will provide IDS visitors with an insider’s look at the most compelling headquarters around the world in a digital gallery. Commissioned by National Bank as the gallery curator, Trend Hunter, the world’s largest, most popular trending community, will bring the most thought-provoking office spaces to IDS13. Featured ground-breaking spaces will include Corus Entertainment™, Google™, Microsoft™, Saatchi and Saatchi™, and Lego™.

“National Bank is thrilled to be back at the Interior Design Show, and this year as a presenting sponsor,” said Lesly Tayles, VP Personal Banking CWA, National Bank. “As a supporter of the design community, we wanted to highlight likeminded organizations who have taken an inventive approach to the spaces we spend so much of our time in.”

Jentry Chin’s design vision
Focusing on high design, National Bank sought out design visionary Jentry Chin, IDS12’s creative consultant for the entire show, to create an intriguing booth inspired by the exhibited offices. Chin brings certain elements of the curated office spaces to life in the IDS13 booth with help from sponsors Neinkamper, Klaus, Interface and Studio B and with furniture by iconic brands like Tom Dixon, Vitra, and Thonet.
